Monterey County – Disaster Information and Emergency Alerts

To sign up for emergency alerts visit Alert Monterey County. Monterey County Emergency Alert System provides the most recent information on evacuation warnings, emergency notifications, and all other communications shared with the public.

Sandbags: Provides list of locations with sandbag supplies to help protect property from flooding. ​​

-List includes sandbag locations through local fire protection districts and sand stockpile locations through County of Monterey Public Works for unincorporated areas.
-Sand stockpile locations do not provide sandbags, but residents can get sandbags from the nearest’s unincorporated area fire station.
