Evacuation Assistance
Butte County’s Special Needs Awareness Program (SNAP) provides evacuation assistance to individuals with access and functional needs who may need help evacuating during an emergency. SNAP is a voluntary program that works with multiple agencies to identify individuals who may need evacuation assistance and help ensure they can be evacuated safely and efficiently. There is no fee to participate.
If you may require additional assistance during an evacuation, a SNAP application can be requested and submitted prior to an emergency. You can download an application at https://bit.ly/BCSNAP
