A disaster or tragedy often brings out strong emotions, such as anxiety, worry and anger, triggering of PTSD, and people may want help in dealing with their feelings. Provides confidential counseling, referrals, and other support, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Northern California Trauma Recovery Network – Post-Traumatic Stress Therapy
Offering 5 free sessions of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) by volunteer EMDR therapists for post-traumatic stress for those affected by the Park Fire (evacuees and fire survivors, first responders and healthcare workers) within 6 months of the disaster taking place. Services are offered in the Greater Sacramento and Foothills, Chico and Redding and San Francisco Bay Regions. CARE Team
Provides emotional support for teenagers who may have been impacted by wildfires, through caring professionals who will walk beside youth and their families if they are struggling with mental health. The CARE Team will help families and youth get connected to resources, create a safe space to talk with CARE Team coaches, and have therapeutic services provided. This is not a live answer phone line. Callers should leave a message; calls and texts will be responded to in 24 hours.

Offering free yoga classes for Park Fire evacuees and first responders. View the class schedule at: www.empowerhy.com/schedule
- Photo ID must be provided and must match the information on their online registration form.
- Individuals who are evacuees without home loss are eligible for 1 week of free yoga which can be used at any time.
- Kids classes are also available for ages 5-9 (Wed 2-3pm) and ages 10-14 (Wed 3-4pm) and can be attended an unlimited amount of times through the end of August.
- Individuals who lost their homes are eligible for 1 month of free yoga classes which can be redeemed any time and they must provide proof of loss of their home.
