Northern California Trauma Recovery Network – Post-Traumatic Stress Therapy
Provides up to five free EMDR therapy sessions for individuals impacted by disasters, including evacuees, fire survivors, first responders, and healthcare workers, within six months of the disaster. Services are available in person or via telehealth in both individual and group settings throughout the Greater Sacramento and Foothills, Chico and Redding, and San Francisco Bay regions. CARE Team
Provides emotional support for teenagers who may have been impacted by wildfires, through caring professionals who will walk beside youth and their families if they are struggling with mental health. The CARE Team will help families and youth get connected to resources, create a safe space to talk with CARE Team coaches, and have therapeutic services provided. This is not a live answer phone line. Callers should leave a message; calls and texts will be responded to in 24 hours.
