Provides free legal assistance to low-income individuals and families affected by the Park Fire. LSNC can help with disaster related legal issues including:

Will replace lost or damaged California tax returns at no cost to you:

Complete Request for Copy of Tax Return (FTB 3516)
Print the name of the disaster at the top of the form
We will send you copies of your most recently filed tax return

Social Security Administration

Visit one of the local Social Security Administration offices where they are providing replacement social security cards for those lost in the fire, verifying Social Security benefits, checking the status of ongoing social security claims and providing information about the claims appeal process. Any valid non-expired form of ID is acceptable to replace a SS card. They will also accept a printout from the DMV of an ID or CDL. For children, a school ID is accepted. Parents can also call the school to get a copy of the children’s student ID which can also be accepted.

California Department of Motor Vehicles

Working with the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), DMV helps Californians affected by natural disasters at Local Assistance Centers (LACs). To search for LAC, visit https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/locations/field-offices/
At these centers, DMV helps Californians replace or re-apply for the following, all free of charge:

  • Driver’s licenses
  • Identification cards
  • Vehicle registration and titles
  • Disabled person parking placards
  • License plates and stickers

In addition, customers may:

  • Submit vehicle disposal paperwork
  • Request driver’s record printouts
  • Process a change of address
  • Title change for destroyed vehicles
  • Obtain salvage title
  • Replacement title to show insurer for claim

If  your  mobile home  or  manufactured  home  was  destroyed  due  to  a  recent  California wildfire,  earthquake  or  storm  and  you  need  copies  of  your  title  and  registration  and/or salvage forms:

If  your  mobile home  or  manufactured  home  was  damaged  due  to  a  recent  California wildfire,  earthquake  or  storm  and  you  need  to  obtain  permits  for  alterations/repairs:

  • Offering free printing services to people affected by the Park Fire.  They will print documents, forms and photos needed for insurance claims or other disaster related services, and replacing family photos for people who lost them in the fire. 
  • People will need to bring the digital files with them of the photos or documents they need to print
