Butte County – Park Fire – Distribution Centers & Fire Survivor Assistance


Offering a needs assessment survey for Park Fire survivors to complete to identify their needs and to help them get connected to relief and recovery resources. With consent, survey responses will be shared with local community organizations and the County, providing survivor assistance and relief/recovery services.

Must show ID and proof of receiving government benefits – MediCal or MediCare card, CalFresh/Food Stamp card is accepted, though they may ask that the applicant go buy food at Grocery Outlet and show the receipt to prove the card is still valid.

Offering free acupuncture sessions for those impacted by the Park Fire (evacuees, survivors and first responders). This service is being funded through donations. They will utilize funds and make treatments available on a rolling basis. They plan to collect funds through October of this year and then offer free treatments until they’re all used up. Call 530-345-5300 to inquire about scheduling an appointment.


Offering free backpacks and school supplies to families affected by the Park Fire as well as others in need in our community. To receive a free backpack filled with essential school supplies, call their office at 530-895-3572 to coordinate pickup. Supplies are limited, so please contact as soon as possible.

Offering free quilts to those impacted by the Park Fire. Individuals have the opportunity to select 2 quilts.

  • Individuals who are evacuees without home loss are eligible for 1 week of free yoga which can be used at any time. 
  • Kids classes are also available for ages 5-9 (Wed 2-3pm) and ages 10-14 (Wed 3-4pm) and can be attended an unlimited amount of times through the end of August. 
  • Individuals who lost their homes are eligible for 1 month of free yoga classes which can be redeemed any time and they must provide proof of loss of their home.
