Provides information and assistance with applications for small business loans for properties damaged during the Park Fire.

  • Businesses of all sizes and private nonprofit organizations may borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory and other business assets.
  • For small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofit organizations of any size, SBA offers Economic Injury Disaster Loans to help meet working capital needs caused by the disaster. Economic injury assistance is available regardless of whether the business suffered any property damage.
  • SBA disaster loans up to $500,000 are available to homeowners to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate. 
  • Homeowners and renters are eligible for up to $100,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed personal property, including personal vehicles.

Interest does not begin to accrue until 12 months from the date of the first disaster loan disbursement. SBA disaster loan repayment begins 12 months from the date of the first disbursement.

The deadline to apply for property damage is December 20, 2024. The deadline to apply for economic injury is July 21, 2025.

Offering emergency financial assistance of up to $500 per household whose primary residence sustained at least 50% damage or more as a result of 2024 Wildfires. Applicants must have an ID, and verification of impacted address (such as utility bill, deed, invoice, lease, W2, paystub, etc). Residences must be located within the following counties: Butte, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity.

Please Note: Only one application per household. More than one family (roommates, etc.) living within the same home/property will need to decide how to split the relief fund.

Offers assistance with finding housing for veterans who lost their rental housing due to the Park Fire. Please note, this program currently only has the funding to assist veterans who were renters, not homeowners.

Must provide photo ID, social security card, proof of income and DD 214. If you do not have your DD 214 card, Nation’s Finest can verify your veteran status. Survivors who are currently homeless, will also need to sign a self-declaration form.

Offering a grant opportunity for restaurant owners in Butte and Tehama counties who were affected by the Park Fire. The grant offers up to $10,000 to qualifying restaurant owners to cover various operating expenses, such as rent or mortgage payments, food and beverage inventory, utilities, supplies and supplier costs.

Offering property assessment after the Park Fire. Disaster affected property owners can apply to have their property reassessed after a disaster to reduce or defer property taxes with no penalties or interest.

AT&T is waiving the following charges for residential and business wireline orders for those impacted by the Park Fire:

  • One-time activation fee for establishing Remote Call Forwarding, Remote Access to Call Forwarding, Call Forwarding features and Messaging services.
  • Monthly rate for one month for Remote Call Forwarding, Remote Access to Call Forwarding, Call Forwarding features and Messaging services.
  • Service charge for installation of service at the temporary or new permanent location of the customer and again when the customer moves back to the original premises.
  • Fee for one jack and associated wiring at the temporary location regardless of whether the customer has an Inside Wire plan.
  • Fee for up to five free jacks and associated wiring for Inside Wire Plan customers upon their return to their permanent location.
  • Fee for one jack and associated wiring for non-Plan customers upon their return to their permanent location.

PG&E is offering:

  • Billing support to stop estimated energy usage attributed to the time period the home or business was unoccupied as a result of the emergency, and discontinue billing for structures that were lost in the fire
  • Credit relief for eligible customers who have lost their home or business by offering flexible payment arrangements for previous account balances
  • Financial assistance for qualified customers

Offering a service to help recover cremains at no cost, for those who lost their homes and the cremated remains of their loved ones due to the wildfire.

To apply, visit www.cremainsrecovery.com select Service Request, and fill out the form. That will put you in their database and then they will be in touch with you.

Although this is a free service that is being offered, they are accepting donations on their website under Make a Donation.
