Butte County – Park Fire – Disaster Case Management

211 can help connect individuals with Disaster Case Management services for those whose home was destroyed or damaged and have immediate unmet needs. There are four local agencies providing Disaster Case Management Services:

  • St.Vincent de Paul
  • Northern Valley Catholic Social Services
  • Tzu Chi
  • Boys and Girls Club (for families with children).

211 is NOT the provider of Disaster Case Management services; however, we can assist in connecting you to those services if your home has been destroyed or damaged. You should first complete or update your information, including a current phone number, on the Park Fire Needs Assessment Survey if you have not already done so. You can get assistance with completing the assessment by connecting with a 211 Navigator. If you have given consent in the survey, your information will be shared with the Disaster Case Management agencies and one of those agencies will follow up with you.

It is important to understand that the Disaster Case Management agencies currently have limited capacity to open cases, and there will likely be a wait for you to be assigned a Disaster Case Manager. The duration of this wait is uncertain, but someone from Disaster Case Management will reach out to provide an update. Additionally, 211 does not control the waitlist or the availability of Disaster Case Managers.

The second step is to connect with a 211 Navigator who can provide more information on other recovery services. You can browse information on 211Now.com to find Park Fire recovery resources or go to Butte211.org for additional free and low-cost community resources.

For more information, dial 211 Mon-Fri 7:30am-7:30pm; select option 3 to listen to details about the Disaster Case Management process, then press 3 again to connect with a 211 Navigator.
